Been some time since I've changed oil in 272-292-312 types, & never thought how snug the filter wants to share space with other workings in a 32 chassis, but looks to work out ok.

 

Yeah! I can see why they are popular in Australian hot rods

 

Tail lights are mounted. Love the so-cal stands... someone used to make steel ones, but couldn't find them. These are stainless.

 

Engine accessories are all finished and full of fluids. Still waiting on new front tires.

Finally able to do a small test run, but the brand new starter crapped out. I'm pretty happy with the final stance.

Thanks!! Wanted to do something vintage and although I love flat heads, its nice to have a bit more power this time.
