I recently imported a ‘46 Ford Super Deluxe into the UK. Want to change all the brake parts. Mater cylinder and rear wheel cylinders no issue.
My stumbling block are the front wheel cylinders, as they have been updated, but can’t seem to find any vehicle references from what they came off of. They are stamped Wagner FD-18292 and Wagner FD-18293, I’m now stuck as one side seized and the other is weeping. Piston bore 1 1/8, mounting bore 1 11/16.
Could anyone please shed some light. [IMG]

I found the fd-18292 after a quick internet search.
There are several with photos and specs.
Prices range from 25-95 dollars depending on vendor.

Dont know what there off of but the kit # is Wagner f 13620. That casting # has several different configurations, such as 7/16 24, 3/8 24, 7/16 20 inlets.

RockAuto is good for cross reference, you can put a part number in then click on what it comes up with and it’ll give you a fitment list, based on the above link I put in 1793118 and got:

How about you post a picture of the backing plate and we tell you what the brakes are from?

Brilliant looks like they are off a 1959-1964 F-250. Thank you.

You probably have repro Lincoln brakes on the front. Pretty sure the cylinders in those were common for decades.

This is going to call for posting some good quality photos of the brakes Backing plates and drums. Both sides of the backing plate. This so somone might recognize what changes were made.

There are no other cast numbers. All that’s on the unit is Wagner FD-18292 and Wagner 18293 no other numbers.
