HIGHLANDER is pretty sharp on this. He helped me undo the screw ups on my Willy’s back in 2019 when my back was against the wall. Here is the last Orange car I painted way back in 2000. Was Chrysler orange over a white as he stated. I tried to mix new product with old ways and assumed it would work. I still have some orange peel on the clear that I haven’t cut and buffed but he sure saved my ass. IMG_2393.png

  2. House Of Kolor Has about 100 of 'em. Some are metallic. I think they may even have some with fluorescent pigments.

On the left, click on the top search.... "color"....... then click on the orange dot.

I'm a fan of Hugger Orange and have used it in several of my cars. It really pops against the Maroon on my 30 Sport Coupe.

The vehicle, and hence it's color, is way OT so I won't show it here but look at 2024 Toyota Tacoma Solar Octane. In real life, it is so bright that it looks like it has some fluorescent pigment but that would not be durable. They put something in it to make it "glow" in daylight.

I used to love watching him battle with Jerry Cook and Geoff Bodine at Shangrila Speedway!

OSHA safety orange, you can get it from an industrial supplier in single stage urethane for cheap.

Yes, the base color can influence some top coats.
And monitor settings don't always show colors accurately.

I grew up in San Diego in the 60s. Had a friend that worked for city maintenance yard. He had a couple of cars painted "lifeguard" orang it wasn't exactly the shade he wanted, but the cost of the paint was EXTREMELY reasonable!

  18. I hate to recommend this, but a certain small hybrid sedan from a Japanese manufacturer that starts with a "T" has a very bright non-metallic orange. And that's all I'm allowed to say...
