Technical Part ID Identification

    Need help on some parts that came with my 1932 ford / C1 Corvette pile of extras. The rods i think are 1932 but not sure of what they do? Are they one year only? The can type things i just dont know? rods1.jpg rods2.jpg oila2.jpg oila4.jpg
     
  2. Pics 3 and 4 are the oil separator in the valley of a SBC.

    1 and 2 , are 1932 ford clutch chatter rods

    The two rods on the left of the photos are steady rods for Model B ‘32’s and the others are for V8’s. Yes, all are 1932, they connected from the center crossmember to the block. I think their purpose was to control engine “shudder” when the clutch was engaged.

    KB how many were used per car? Do i have two sets or one?

    also is it one year or were they used on 33 and 34?

    Two , one each side of the trans bell housing and they bolt to the K member

    one year 32
