That red thing looks like it's having an allergic reaction, probably to itself. I don't think an epipen is going to help.

  11. You know what is crazy? The amount of time that went into building those things.
There is so many conflicting styles on either of those. Although they are definitely conversation starters I mean we are having conversations about them and I have no idea where they are even at or from or how old the photos are but a pretty woman and a car wreck is hard to look away from.

How about this "bucks down" home slice? Far more wood in its construction than the day it was new(?) Containing Ford parts from the "T" era to the 90s grill badge. I am pained when I see wishbones ill-treated in this fashion. Festooned with Betty boop ephemera, and chock-a-block full of robertson (scrulox) fasteners, not sure why it has a windshield frame. It's as far opposite as can be to the tasteful Vicky parked next to it. 20220828_120754.jpg 20220828_120804.jpg

Give it time , something will turn up. Mere copping the visual shouldn't be the criteria for driving said creations. In the example posted, note the empty front drums. There was no evidence of rear brakes, mechanical or hydraulic. I believe it was trailered to the event, though there was an "antique " parade plate on it.

Holy Hell! The only thing I would want someone to see me driving is that Mustang/Ranchero. I’d rather walk than drive the rest of that shit!

I guess Beverly Hills Ford was licensed to make 50 of them so you may get your chance if you look hard enough. This one was on Bring a Trailer, sold for $15k in 2021

I like the lines of it, and I’m not a ford guy.

Please tell me I'm not the only one who watched the movie... or thought the car was cool when they were younger

Love it! You go for it man!

I have driven a few vehicles home with out brakes. Sometimes it was uneventful, but there were times it was really "Exciting!" As I grow older and look back at some of those exciting experiences, I have determined that is is OK to be skeered sometimes.

I am more then willing to follow along and be a witness while others have the opportunity to experience those exciting life experiences on their own. Someone has to be around to call 911. :D

Got to tell this story. Back when I was renting the building where my welding shop was, the guy across the alley did spring work on cars and trucks, and also sold repair panels.
One day I walked into his shop and he was changing out the leaf springs in a Chevy truck. The truck was jacked up, he had a lit cutting torch in his hand, and he was cutting one of the front leaf spring mounting bolts, sparks were flying, and the rubber bushing was on fire and burning. I noticed right away there was the distinct, powerful smell of gas fumes. I hollered at him and he shut off his torch and blew out the fire from the burning rubber bushing. I told him about the gas smell. His comment was "I know." Then he pointed to a steel pan under the corner of the gas tank on the truck (about 2' forward of where he was cutting). In it was about 2" of gas that he was catching from the still leaking fuel tank on the truck, that very same truck he was cutting a leaf spring bolt out of! He told me he just about had the bolt cut, so he was going to finish it up and then would get me what ever I needed. I said, OK, I'm going back to my shop, come and get me when you are done cutting. He wanted to know why I was leaving, when it would only be a couple minutes before he was done?
I told him someone was going to have to call 911 if the gas blew up, so I was going to go back to my shop so I could make the call if needed. It ended OK, but I sure was skeered!

I just saw that guy the other day, he is still walking around, and that gas tank leak event was 30+ years ago. He probably doesn't even remember it, but I sure do.
