  1. Not sure.
I’d have to stare at some quad HL bezels
    The bars don’t look fabricated

  2. I wonder what that would look like with the grille flipped upside down....might fit the gaps at the bottom outside corners better

  3. Here’s a 55 model I built, for inspiration. Chopped, sectioned, wheel wells moved forward, T Bird hood scoop, 59 Chevy front bumper. IMG_6632_Original.jpeg IMG_6638_Original.jpeg IMG_6628_Original.jpeg IMG_6629_Original.jpeg IMG_6630_Original.jpeg

  4. I know the amount of work that goes into that job and when doing it Fit and Finish is looked at very closely. That said the bottom corners of the Grill need some Fit work. I do like the front bumper treatment. Laying the back of the cab forward gives the Cab a Pinhead look due to the change in the top of the door and takes away from correcting the overbite appearance of the front wheel openings. Otherwise "I'd drive it".

I figured it was Olds, but didn't know what year.

And just like that all the 53-56’s had a treatment called the Hay style….

  16. 59 Chev bumpers work on a lot of stuff. Plus lots of 3 piece ones out there to scoop up and work with. They did repop the lower aprons that go under the bumper, dont know if they still do, but complete the look with the bumper.

  18. Ha! Be the first time the Hay name was associated with anything cool!

The kit is 1:24 scale and the 59 bumper is 1:25, so I’d be interested to see if it actually would fit an F100 in real life…

  19. Im not hating that at all. I like how they notched the top of the gravel pan to match.

The notches are there from the factory, they are for the stock parking lights to sit in.

  21. Jim, He may be referring to the drop in the center that matches the Grill. That too is a stock profile.

This is one of my daily drivers. 56 big window, 4" chop, shaved drip rails, pie cut hood, shortened bed, molded dash, lincolin continental bench seat, 72 chevelle subframe, 10 bolt rear, 350/350.

Future plans are to pinch the front fenders about 3 to 4" each side, canted headlights, floating drawer pull grill, eight frenched in 59 caddy taillights along the rear pan (six tail lights and two reverse lights). Eventually it will get a color change to candy apple red. Right now I am just driving the hell out of it while building my wifes chopped 56 M100 small window.

Aside from the HAMB, most forums are dying a slow miserable death and FB Groups are the new forums. I hate the algorithms for searching keywords, and I hate the spam posts, and repetitive questions like "what size tire will fit my xxxxx" but whatever, it's the new way to discuss like minded topics. Anyway, I just requested to join that group.
