What were these headlights originally off?

 

Early corvette maybe. I like it.

 

nope, the Vette bezel is a flatter shape, and has a lump in the middle. It's something else.

 

i think they are but upside down.

 

the curve is wrong, the length is wrong, even the screw holes are in the wrong place. They are not corvette.

 

I agree. Even the screw holes line up if flipped. Hard to tell due to reflection, but the bump may still be present, just underneath.

you will have to google every car made from 1958 to 1965 to figure that one out.

 

I've spent a lot of time fondling a pair of 62 Corvette headlights...they're not the same....

 

the upside down bump are a little easier to see here

 

well then they have to be corvette bezels, eh?

 

Ok, i think i see where are confusion is. I am looking at 58-60 vette headlights and squirrel is looking at 61-62. i was trying to post the 58-6- headlights but for some reason i can't post them here.

 

Moriarity has pictures of this truck from the 2021 custom revival show so he might have a pretty good idea what these are seeing he saw it close up.

 

I looked at this truck multiple times over this week and I'm going with Corvette.

looks like they are screwed on like stock. I think there are 2 screws on the top which would be the bottom on the Vette

 

not the bezels, the humps...

 

I remember a "40 Ford had very similar headlites
