Fair enough I can appreciate were you’re coming from, but you can just ignore any text postings by scanning over them quickly to only ones with pictures. Leaving others to read text or comment if they desire, making it about more than one preference while requiring little effort from others to satisfy their preference.

Remember just scan past your post and this one since there's no picture.

 

Or, you could just start your own thread and argue with yourself, requiring no effort from others to satisfy their preference.

You are wrong. You need to re-read the thread title and the thread starters first post. clearly states post photos. As others have said , START YOUR OWN THREAD.

 

It’s arguments like these that go back and forth then get out of hand that get good threads locked by the moderators. Would hate to see this thread get locked. Take it outside boys! My opinion; your mileage may vary

Vintage Mopars Rule !

 

Looks to be a B029 Barracuda in far lane, if correct for those not aware they were a purposely built race car directly from factory. Even came with window sticker like new cars BUT instead of normal information listed, it said in bold print NOT INTENDED FOR STREET USE!

man!! you would not think there were that many back in the day. there was a guy i came across walking to school when i was in the 9th grade. he had a '64 plymouth in his front yard. it was a 426 with 4 speed. he asked if i was going to the drags on sat. i told him i didn't have any money so he says be at his house by 7am. you know i was there. it had one seat and a roll bar and nothing else. this thing pulled the wheels of the ground every time we stopped. i was hanging on for dear life but loving every minute of the ride. i told my self i would have one when i grew up. i got a '63 ply finally when i was about 45 years old. my wife will have to sell it when i'm gone because i never will.

Super Stocks, Early A/FX, all classes of Gassers the golden age of drag racing for me. Great side by side racing in classes the everyday guy could relate to.
