Hey did some searching and did not come up with much Is anyone rocking this style under floor power brake booster setup ? I was looking at doing this master with 7" booster with 2 -10lb residual valves and the remote master on the fire wall . My orig master has too much rust to repair and I wanted a dual master with power booster
I switched my 37 to overhead pedals the brace and pedals from a 66-67 Chebbie 2 , seems to fit as God wanted there , best as I can recall
I’ve got one of those boosters and brackets I’d sell if you want to go that way. I bought it and decided not to use it. Message me if you’re interested. instead I used a Chevs of the 40s bracket for a modern manual MC under the floor in the stock location.
PM sent. Im trying to see if there is provision for the clutch lever or im going to have to fabricate something i guess
I did a 40 with this type setup--miserable. First used a single diaphragm, it and 4 huge boat anchors would stop the thing in 200 yds. Went to a dual diaphragm, better but still kept your attention at any stoplight. Planned a firewall type but sold the car before that. Retrospect--firewall type first.
Its in the same pos issue is mine mounts to the crossmember and the master is part of the pedal ***embly, im wondering if the 7/8" booster helps with the drums
Used this style on a 34 chev. Works fine. Just got an inspection panel in the timber floor to access the master cylinder. Dual diagram booster is awesome. No residual valves, drums rear, disks front.
