Man this thread is alive and well! Some interesting info on my convertible - This is a picture of a promotional parade of some sort at the 1966 Winter Nationals In Pomona. I believe the first car in line is my convertible. I can't prove it but there is a good chance it is. I had the VIN researched by Galen Govier and got the IBM card from Chrysler Historical and it was determined that the car was special ordered (order code details unknown) and not sold at a dealership. I believe some Dodge executives special ordered it for promotional events. When I restored the interior there was some weird damage to some things that could be explained by standing on the sills or sitting around the top well like seen in the photo. The bumper guards, full wheel covers and 383 4bbl badges on the fenders of the car in the photo match my car. You would figure if they special ordered a car for promos they want some of the best features on the car like fancy wood grain steering wheel, clock & power window - which the car has. Also the car in the pic has California black plates and the car was built with California emissions as per the IBM card. I actually found this picture on the HAMB! How cool is that? Sorry for the bad copy -
