    Thanks, I remembered a WHATABURGER in 1950s that looked similar in Newport News, VA but I think it was privately owned not part of a restaurant chain. The burgers were my favorite then and still are today, since it only moved a little ways from it's original location and still in business today. Still in a small building with takeout widows only, for taking home or eat at pick-nick table or in car.

    Newport News? I spent a week there one day in 1966 at Ft Eustis .
