It seems that back in the day, people sat all over the outside of their cars. You wouldn't do that these days.

Ah, Air Force @lewislynn was Army and I served in Navy, all we need now is a Marine but there were no Marine bases in that local tidewater area, if you don't count some Marines that were attached to Norfolk Naval Station.

 

I served on a ship home-ported at Norfolk. We had a guy that came from Newport News, he pronounced it Nupe-it News. lol Oh, and we had a couple of Marines stationed on our ship.

 

So what’s the story behind this picture?
Is that a rifle rack? It’s kind of fuzzy when I zoom in on it. Who’s the guy?
