That's my mate Max Ellery cruising up Barker Street, Castlemaine, Vic and that was our wedding car 54 years ago. Max traded a running, driving Model A tourer with John Montiero of the L.A.Roadsters for the 327 and Muncie out of John's 27 tourer and that engine and box are still in the car. Max sold the car about 3 years ago.

  7. Well nothing much has changed in that part of town. I was just there with google earth :D:rolleyes:. Even the lacework under the rain gutter is the same ( where the truck is parked )

Some has @34 GAZ Back then it was a 2 lane road with angle parking and now it's a 4 lane with parallel parking. Note that the nice bluestone gutters have gone and it's concrete kerb and channel. The Drapers shop is now an outdoors shop and the only place in town that you can buy ammo. The shops haven't changed as the owners are too miserable to spend any money on them and they are the richest people in town.

That would be right Anthony, they are the Whittier Strokers, the guy in the red ball cap was my old
friend, Bill Cole. He had a nice 29 roadster that was flathead Cad powered.
