Joe Pirotta's Nailhead powered Model A. Was cover car on the first issue of the Aussie Custom Rodder magazine. Although a running, driving car it has never been registered , is unchanged and sits in the showroom of Joe's workshop in Springvale, Melbourne. Piero featured this car on the DVD of his first trip to Australia.

Fishermans Bend dragstrip. Melbourne. Note the Falcon steering wheel, very popular with Aussie hot rodders in the 60's

Terry Scully's Fiat which was running a Cad flathead at that time. Car has gone through a number of re-builds since then and Terry still owns it. Don't remember the car beside it with the oil drum fuel tank but based on the licence plate it was registered in 1962.

Fishermans Bend again with a good crowd of spectators. Rip Kirby's heavily channelled 32 roadster behind the dragster.

Great shot! What's missing is something to reference the scale. These 3 'liners were itty bitty! Always curious about tire availability when they built them. Go Kart stuff?
