I believe I will, Jarrell told me that he painted it back in the 70's. He did the panel job. I'm probably gonna end up buying 2 quarter panels and 2 rockers. But I'll go right back with his design.

I just had to go rescue my buddy Dave in his Ford, I gave him so much shit when I pulled in! Lmao! He just bought a 63 Fairlane with a 390,3 deuces, and a 4 speed. Already left him by the road lol

My favorite donor axle for Tri Five Chevys is a '55-'59 Chev truck axle. The perfect width and usually find them for around $100-$125 used. Easy to convert to 5 lug drums, or disc brakes.

Need some big crazy ladder bars, and some 15X4 front wheels. I bought a set of 15X10 steel wheels for the rear

  10. For consideration as a name . . .

    "Bruce"

Steven Spielberg and the crew of the movie Jaws bestowed that name on the three mechanical special FX sharks used for filming. He was antagonistic, frightening and difficult to work with. The name was also a reference to Spielberg's lawyer.

What casting number are the heads and what are your build plans for them?

ELO, Don’t Bring Down Groos lyric. Groos was a word used because they could not think of anything at the time and planned to change it later but never did. Many listening think they are singing Bruce instead.

    Groos?

As I'm sure you are aware folks grafted rear Buick wheel openings onto tri-5 Chevies back when. I doubt you can find a Buick donor car today. I'm betting you'll have to fab your own wheel openings.

    Great score Lloyd.

Along with a couple of thousand of your other best friends I'll be watching your progress. At Lloydfest I'll take you for a ride in Clarence if you'll take me for a ride in your 55.

I like 55 Nomad rear wheel openings. They flow well with the stock fronts.

A big polished 6-71 through the hood would look good, too!

    781. They're ready to go. My machine shop just checked them over. They actually belonged to my machinist. They were completely redone and ran for about 30 minutes. He put aluminum on his engine. They have 2.06 valves. New springs, etc. I'm building a .030 454 with .250 domes and a 280 comp magnum.

  27. 55 front wheel openings are very similar to nomad rears so if you can find some junker 55 fenders they may work for you
