Jay tore the care apart and got the frame sand blasted and repaired.

It's back on 4 wheels and he's working on steering, floors and shock mounts etc

what are you gonna do with the interior? try to replicate the weird pattern fabric? or something different?

going to replicate it as close as possible. Will have to custom make the fabric

Using the original mounting holes in the frame and replicating the headlight stands exactly how they were back in 1957

 

oh that's slick! I like the edge bent over like that.

 

There are lots of custom fabric places online, shouldn’t be too much of a head ache. Will surely be worth the effort that’s a pretty wild interior

Update: matched an original paint chip inside the car to 1954 Buick metallic Tahitian red.
