I'm gonna build a track, and we'll weigh the cars and pair them up that way. It's not anything official, I'm more interested in seeing what people build.

Yes it will. I don't care if it's a 6 cylinder Chevy valve cover. It's for fun!! Do your cheating before you show up lmao! I'll bring my scales that I use to weigh my contraband, I mean pistons, and that's all we care about! Use all the graphite powder on the axles that you can! We'll say that the wheels can be no taller than 6"? Because I don't really wanna see a valve cover with 20" bicycle wheels lol.

Yeah, no oil on the axles or bearings. It will screw the track up. Graphite is the way to go. Rubber or poly tires, Lloyd?

As far as the valve cover racing, I feel cheating should be encouraged. Hahahahahahaha! Rock hard bald tires, hidden weight, tiny motors in the wheels!

Absolutely! It'll be funny! Like watching a guy pout when he doesn't get a trophy at the car show!

Just in case I cant make it again this year. I will sponsor the trophy for the best overall racer. Winner gets to keep it till next Lloydfest but must bring it back each year.

Sorry to hear about your building damage & the fact you won't make Lloydfest this year! Hopefully you get some benefits as far as more room, more efficient design, etc when it comes to the new building.

Hope your wife is doing well, we had some "not so good" news about Laura's health a couple of weeks ago & yesterday she had a pretty major surgery. Please... Y'all keep her in your prayers. We are keeping positive & are still planning on being at Lloydfest with everything resolved!

The V.C. racing sounds like a blast, I am sure I will be a spectator this year, because of the time factor, but will learn how to best participate(cheat) for next year:p

    God Bless

Looking forward to seeing you and a 100% Laura at Lloydfest. I'll see if I can stay awake past 10 o'clock this year.

I've been told it doesn't take long by plane, but I have no clue, I'm like B.A. from the A-team, you'd have to drug me to get me on an airplane!

Holy shit guys...! I couldn't figure out why I hadn't seen any posts from Lloyd or anything about Lloyd fest for such a long time. Got to digging around and couldn't find Lloyd anywhere. I came to realize I musta hit "ignore" or sumptin when I was half asleep! I'm just checking back in and looking forward to catching up again. Am planning on making the party this year again.

I think Lloyd should secure a local track and have a fun night and match races for the guests. Maybe not this tear, but it would be fun. He could make his own classes or do theme classes. It’s not necessarily about winning as much as it would be about the friendly banter and camaraderie.
