IMG_1760.jpeg IMG_1781.jpeg IMG_1780.jpeg Love the front fenderlets. I just popped my first good piece out of my molds for my OT hot rod. Since this is my first ground up fiberglass project, they're kinda rough, but now there will be at least one other car that has them!

  18. It is hard to believe that the roadster was still sitting there. Perhaps it was considered too rough at that time, but today, people would be glad to get it.

  19. Stan Adams from Oakdale, Connecticut. The picture appears to be at Connecticut Drag-way. The picture brings back memories for me as I started going to Connecticut Drag-way back in 1961.

  22. Thanks for the video, that brought back good memories. Yes, that is Stan Adams' Fiat, Also There were many other cars that I remember, Jim Barillaro's Ford Falcon wheel-stander, the pale yellow top fuel car with the limousine push car was "Rapid" Red Lang from New York, The orange Prefect ( Anglia 4 door ) was Norman St. Germain, and Bill Hardy, with Bill driving. Bill, Norman and I were members of the "Stockers" car club from Glastonbury, Connecticut.

That’s one way to de-stroke an engine but makes it harder to balance the rotating assembly!

After seeing the New Mexico license plates on this car, I did a little research on the picture. The only newspaper called The Mangum Star is still in business in Mangum, OK. It looks like the car owner wasn't afraid to drive it anywhere since the closest town on the N.M. border is Clovis, NM, roughly 240 miles away.

Good detective work Alan. I saw the Mangum on the building and wondered where that was. It would have been very strange to encounter that strange, homely car out on the road.
