That picture makes me feel like it's a pink crunchy shell over flakes on the bottom foot or so.

yes, here in Wisconsin we would be fighting over it at this price but I did see it was originally priced at $7500 before it was dropped to $3,000. Makes you go hmmm.

That car isn’t original anymore. So you can do whatever you like in clear conscious

  16. No. It’s gone and has nasty late model seats
    Wouldn’t matter anyway.

The Deuce 3W on the previous page is ugly in it's current format, but really not too bad of a deal. It would need to be completely redone, I don't think the frame is salvageable, but it's a real steel body with (I assume) a title and a whole collection of small pieces which could be reused or at least sold off to recoup some of the cost.

I have often wondered how many of these early chops, have been sawn through all the support wood and metal internal supports, of the "A pillar" and then just welded back together "on the skin". Definitely not as strong as the original structure Henry put together! I would be very leery of driving an old chop top car, it might fold up like a deck of cards in an accident. 60 Special

There's probably the asking price in just the chrome on that car!

The Connie is a more stogy version of the Lincoln. The formal roofline makes it look like you need to be wearing a top hat to drive it. I much prefer the flowing top of the Zephyr coupe like mine, more sporty if you will.
The Connie was essentially a factory custom. They hand built all of them, from sectioning the hood to the aluminum windshield header and frame.
