Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by Dago 88, Feb 7, 2009.

  1. very nice mate, sits perfect. i like the flatty in it, think the rocket will go better in the PU(for some reason OHV engines look better in closed cars IMO maybe im just mad).

btw thats some cool s**t hangin on your walls especially the old castlereagh drag strip sign on the fence:cool::cool::cool: too cool.

I look forward to seeing the pickup. Any chance you will bring it down to chopped this year?

We will be at Chopped this year, but it won't be in the pick up. We hoping to have another surprise there.;)
    Cheers Charlie.

Looking back on this build & just realised how much I enjoyed building it. Been on the road 12 years & still enjoying it heaps. It’s changed a little over the years but still has the same running gear. Never let me down except for losing a front cycle fender on the freeway coming home from the first Test Run on the Central Coast (see I knew they are unsafe) Here are some recent pics of it & my Pickup which has been on the road 24 years IMG_1837.jpeg IMG_1843.jpeg IMG_2185.jpeg IMG_2186.jpeg F24E4E03-E529-4FB1-A4FE-88402A7001A1.jpeg

    Thanks

  8. I built a '28 roadster with bumpers and cycle fenders as they were required components for licensing at the time. It turns out that I'm no where near the fabricator I thought because those items "fell off" as soon as it got home after being inspected for licensing. ;):D
