You guys got it all wrong
Tractors should be green and cars and trucks should have a pentastar emblem lol

My grandpa liked them had several, I had a 69 Roadrunner does that count? However I was raised under the watchful eye of my dad and he was a staunch FORD man and a hot rodder, need I say more?

I’m just pickin at you guys lol. Around here they actually argue about which tractor is better green or red. Me I like green tractors Dad retired from Deere so that’s where my bread was buttered. As for cars I like em all with a 32 Ford anything as my favorite. I would love a 69 Road Runner. I’ve owned Dodges Plymouths, Chryslers, Cadillacs, jeeps, Chevys, Fords, Olds, and Buicks never had a Poncho. My Jeep Cherokee old model would’ve qualified for this thread. One Wyoming winter night the rear tailgate window broke, couldn’t find one so I fabricated a window that lifted up instead of rolling down out of plywood and plexiglass along with a couple hardware store hinges. Hey it worked

just a statement, should have injected some humor into that, I have had all different cars as well including my first a junk yard buy when I was 13, 1950 Nash Ambassador which I wrote about in another thread, if I would have only kept, well you know the rest of the story.

The title of the thread has "amusing & Funny" in it. Humor is implied in all posts. I've owned lots of Fords '30s-'50s and cultivated hundreds if acres on almost every color of tractor built in this country since the turn of the last century. At least for my posts please think of them as joking among among friends. A bit of jabbing is to be expected.

Your right about humor, we are among friends here, I do expect joking. worked in a maintenance shop at an open pit coal mine with 30 other mechanics on a crew, pull a boner and you could count the seconds on one hand before everyone had the story, needed really thick skin to survive 40 years there with all those animals.

When I was going to junior college in the early 60s I was also the new young guy at a Montgomery Wards auto shop and the butt of every joke for about a month. I figured out how to play the game and not get my ass kicked. Things went well after that. :)

If there were French hot rodders it wouldn't have taken 50 years to find those flatheads.
