@Wanderlust 39 Nash? Some unique grille work on that one. I really like 39-40 Nashes. A beautiful but often overlooked design.

39 far as I can tell, yup, bit of a homemade grill jobbie on it, will probably just keep it as is since these cars are pretty thin on the ground up here. Really like the design as well. 63C324F2-CC3B-4457-BEE9-B61D3D8DCC6C.jpeg D22C1017-B515-4D27-9467-DA8351DBE8DE.jpeg coming home

  7. Packed too close for comfort. Mostly sedans, but very few coupes.

I was gonna say it's from a French underground quarry. Still plenty of usable parts, especially on those Fords.
A lot of cars have been hidden during WWII because of the confiscations or the forced sell for scrap. From time to time they still pop up when new owners renovate and find them walled up and long forgotten.
A friend of mine found and bought a '48 Ford woody that was stashed in an open cave so it got plenty of air and little humidity, it was in really good shape with a blown head gasket.

I think this poor ‘56 Ford Victoria got taken for a joy ride in the Mojave desert years ago and then got torched.
It’s been sitting and rotting since.

  19. Going by the trim along the top of the rear fender and the rear bumper, I would call that a 1955 Ford Fairlane sedan.
