    Lincoln High school, 1959:
Bunch of us drag racers were hanging in the parking lot, engine builder Tomasello says, "Why does Sneaky have that Cal Custom gearshift knob in his roadster?"
    I couldn't resist..."Cuz he's a yo-yo..." Much laughter.

Hey Gene, I think I know where that hub cover came from. :)

Glad you put it to good use.

Thank You for sending it my way. Its actually been in the car for a couple years, probably since shortly I got it from you. Its taken for ever to take pictures of it. Every time I saw this thread popped back up, I would think, I need to take a couple pictures. Finally, while the car was apart this past winter, I was in the shop with the camera in hand and finally took the pictures. Then I didn't think about it until this thread popped up again.

Its pretty big for a shift knob, but now that I'm used to it, a regular shift knob seems so small. Gene

  13. My wife. While not actually modelled off my wife it bears a striking resemblance. Hence why I bought it lol IMG_20240730_181626285_HDR.jpg

Since @Moriarity posted the picture of the one he made for his Corvette, I thought I would show the one that was previously in his car. I’m honored to have it in my Barracuda now, Mark believes it is a Cal Customs from the ‘60’s

  18. That IS a killer knob. Also I believe you have the exact same steering wheel I intend to get for my 53. Mooneyes red metal flake 15" finger grip wheel?

Mine is a plain old white Hurst 6-speed knob, with the red button for the reverse lockout.

  28. These are a mix of some that I've created, some are survivors that I've refurbished; some are sold and some I still have in inventory. I'm attempting to post ones that I haven't posted before but forgive me if I'm rehashing any........ cricket1.JPG crush.JPG DSCN1222 (1).JPG Vintage Molded Vasiline Glass.JPG DSCN0202.JPG claw1.JPG
