I never win didly but I'm not even going to consider entering. Because if for some off reason I did win I'm certainly not worthy of being the care keeper of such a fantastic car. Hopefully it will go to someone who can continue it's legacy. JMO

I entered when first posted here. On the very obscure chance I won it, (now that WOULD be a surprise) I have a garage spot. :D

They advertise it as being a Gasser but I believe it's a altered, isn't it? On account of the altered wheel base

99% of folks who watch stuff about cars have no idea what an altered wheelbase car is, but they know what a "gasser" is, so that's what you have to call it, eh?

You're preachin to the choir here :)

Yep, nobody knows what altered wheel base means, gasser sounds cool to 99% of the viewing audience.

And altered could refer to just moving the engine back, too.

Perfect example mentioned is 554 with axles in normal location, but engine back.

That is advertising at work. Appeal to as many people as possible, with the most 'catchy' terms possible.
It certainly isn't as bad as it could be. Good luck to all who enter.

I hear ya Jim every time I race my afx car even in the afx match race a few weeks ago in Wichita they still called it gasser because it has a straight axle in it but what can you do these days when they don’t know even know what a true gasser is either lol I did get a nice mention from the announcer who actually did know what a afx car was and he pointed out to the crowd that my car is a perfect example of what a real afx car is and the next round when I lined up next to your old barracuda he once again mentioned how these two car lined up next to each other is what it would have been like in 1965

Yesterday morning I met a young lady with a Big Block 67 Chevelle white in color. She had a booklet of sorts opened to Plan II. I looked at her windshield “ Sick 66” decal. She said you were very nice to speak with. I agreed.

I will third that it was a pleasure to see and talk to you.
I'd call you the Ambassador of car stuff.
Along that line, this popped up. Guess you need to rod one of those or at least get the script.
