Features Who can ID these artillery wheels?

6 holes are usually Chevy.
Looks like 16 or 15 inch. by the tires. They could be farm wagon.

Yes. I have seen hay wagons with 6 lugs artillery wheels and plain hub caps. Not homemade factory bought. The above truck is probably the answer.

 

The above trucks wheels appear to be a little different.

 

They're aftermarket, from Clark, Firestone, Motor Wheel, or any of the sellers of the early thirties "Jumbo" fad tires.

Yes aftermarket.

 

Those are '35-'36 Chev Master or pickup 17'' wheels.

 

These were 16's

 

Yep. The Chevy spokes are ~sharper.



And the ~centers look different. On the rusty ones the mounting flange is flat versus ~embossed.

 

What are jumbo fad tires? I'm finding "General Jumbo" artillery wheels.

If anyone has an ad for aftermarket artillery wheels handy, please post.
