When you lean on one of those things, they sound like a swarm of bees. Angry, angry bees.

Clearly this one was spinning so fast it sucked the valves out of the nearest Chebby

It’s wasn’t amusing to me at the time, but pulled the heads of off an engine a few days ago. I thought my engine had a tapeworm. No, just someone getting way carried away with the gray Permatex. It was lodged halfway in the head, other half in a cooling passage of the block. It’s about 8” long.

 

That stuff would get you arrested these days.
Mail boxes and their posts have to be able to be broken off and crushed.
Can you imagine sliding off a snow covered road and hitting that box? If the post gave away when you hit it, the box will become a projectile heading towards you. If the post didn't give away, its goi8ng to start cutting through your car.

 

WHAT?

That’s where my 3/8” extension went! Can I have it back?

Not real sure yet, but I don't think that is the best place to save a little race car weight...
