With the headers on it looks like the "FlyingNun". I always liked Sally Fields.

This is cool. @65pacecar posted this wagon over on the tri 5 thread. Check out the name on the quarter panel by the tail light. Fate, I tell you.

I'm gonna do some rotational machining on the ball I have, and finish it up on the belt sander. See what I come up with ;)

Let's all get back on the wagon.....
    Me included.
    Thanks

  16. Got access to a machine shop or buddies that work in one? I would go with a stud with a shoulder on it and a heim joint. Depending on how much vertical height you have , you could weld a nut on the chassis rail or sister up a bracket on the side of it. Just a thought. Worst case you may sacrifice up a z-bar.

Man, that '57 was killer! Perfect stance.
Are you sure you want to build a gasser style car?? Is it too late to change build directions??
    Hahaha...... just kidding.
I really do have to commend you for the progress you're making. Thanks for documenting all that, thus making the rest of us slackers look really bad..... ;)

Speaking of a bench grinder? If so, when I was going through Joey’s San Francisco roadster thread, he wanted the markings off the end of the bolts, so chucked them in a variable speed cordless drill, as I recall.
    Much better results, looked great.

Thanks Mike, plan was to work on it this evening, but my station ran 30 calls yesterday, my ass was dragging all day today. Sanded all day, and looked through 39 Chevy parts. Then at around 6:30 I decided I'd had enough lol. Tmrw is a new day, and hopefully I'm not up all night tonight. Been doing some figuring, and bouncing stuff off of @lumpy 63 , my engine has .100 dome pistons, my heads are 64cc, according to Mike, he can't remember, but he thinks the deck height was 0. If that's the case, this thing might be around 13-1 CR  hopefully not, but it was still free :)

  23. Dang, that has to be an exceptional day for sure. Hardly enough time to get back to the house between them.

You should be right around 11 to 1 with that setup depending on the head gasket thickness. ;) Give or take a little, of course. :D

You'll just have to set it up to run E85, if it is that high! :D

That's figuring on an .041 compressed gasket. 11 to 1 would make my nipples hard.
