Why do you need a utility truck?? Gotta ask every once in a while. This one's pretty solid! Bed is nice, only missing a door. It's 6' too...
One I forgot about. Nos Superior steering adapter for 49-57 Ford from 1974 I bought off marketplace last year. Got this and a used one for a 55 Chevy off the same guy for like $20
That's cool, the earlier Ford ones are way harder to find, seems like most were 69-up GM. The box is cool too. I've had tons of those adapters but I never saw the box before.
Brought this home today. I'll have to get rid of one of my other cars to keep it but it was so incredibly cheap I couldn't resist. 37K original miles.
Thanks! It does have a flat 6, but I think it is a Nash in-house designed engine, it appears to be the same one that the later Rambler Americans had into the early 60's.
Bought a pile of ignition and electrical stuff coils, condensers, brushes, regulators, vac advances, caps…..
Not car related, but I love this thing. My wife found this scale on Facebook and price was right. Not working as it sits. This is the kind of piece I drag out in the shop in the winter and get it working-maybe. Always fun to try and tinker though.
A scale. Looks like something from an old grocery store that would sit on a counter, as it’s so short. I have done no research yet to verify. I would bet it’s around 1900, lots of heavy brass on it too.
These both came my way last week. A ring spreader by K-D Manufacturing of Lancaster, made in USAmerica. That is printed on the tool. The book is a complementary copy given to Ford employees in 2002. It was given to me by a retiree from the foundry of all things, thank you Smitty.
I really dig the design of old cans of Marvels mystery oil. I think the design is pretty Marvelous, I got these a couple months ago and they make a nice display on the shelf.
You need space to store this stuff, but books are good if the internet goes down, plus I have something to remind me how gracious some people can be.
