  5. Welcome to our new 640 member Mr.Rick Steiner as Crew chief
    Rick has been with us now for almost a year and has brought many good ideas to the truck.
    Rick has been involved in racing for most of his life.
    He retired from Camp Perry as a mechanical engineer with hands on knowledge.
    He is well liked by the crew and myself.
    Welcome to your new position Rick.

  6. In other news our former Crew Chief
    Dan Urbanskie will be moving on to new chapter in his life. Dan has his own business building Hot Rods as well as building houses with his dad. Dan has served as Crew Chief since 2018 and has helped develop team 640 to the level it is today.
    On behalf of team 640 we wish you great success in all you do. Dan will always remain our friend. Love you Dan!

  17. Rick and I finished up the front end rebuild today all that's left is the alignment. Also getting very close on the trailer repairs on the rear door. Just a few screws in the new floor panels

    Would an anodize be better than powder coat?
     
  25. Probably but we don't have anyone close that can do that.

    Just thinking out loud, but what do they set the Alignment specs to? I imagine there's a bunch of positive caster for the high-speed.

    I assume the gmc is slated for the pickup. So are planning on running a XO class?
