I recently got these headers from a guy and was going to use them for wall art. He told me they were for a ford, and told me the brand but I forgot soon after. He told me they were worth quite a bit of money but sold them to me for a lot less than his estimate.

What brand are these headers? Estimated value? If they’re worth something I would offer to sell and find another pair of headers for wall art.

If you guys need more photos to tell that is fine.

What little I can see of the flange I would say they are 2 or 4 barrel Ford Cleveland headers. I better picture of the flange will tell. They might be Hooker headers, if so there will be a number on the flange.

    Hello,

It looks as if those headers have different spacing for each side, so are they matching ports? Or, two separate headers from different engines? Perhaps another photo showing all even spacing outlets.

Put them side by side and take a photo showing view from left to right.

    For the above photo:

The ones in the foreground look like even spaced outlets. The above header has wider spacing between one port and the center. Please show a separate angle of flanges and header ports as spaced apart in your next set of photos.

here is a set of Ford headers:

Here is a Chevy set of headers with different spacing:

I see a “361” on the engine side of the flange IMG_0062.jpeg IMG_0063.jpeg

Hooker would be a 4 digit number I believe but they could be Hookers, also they usually had Hooker stamped in at the collector. They do look like 351 C or 351M/400 headers to me. Looking at the way they are made I would say they are M or 400 for a truck application.

I can’t remember what the name of the headers were, it started with a c or something. I can’t recall.

I agree with @Flatrod17 , those are for a Cleveland. The bolt holes in the headers are mirror images because one casting and the same machining operation is used to produce the heads. It would be economically foolish to machine right and left heads for an engine.

I have a similar set for Ford truck 351M/400. Has a Doug Thorley sticker on it. Picked them up cheap at a swap meet 20+ years ago. $400 seems like new price decades back, but they don't make them any more, so...

Cyclone used to make headers. That would be a brand starting with a "C".

    OH MY GOODNESS...did you say 361's ?!!!!
Those are super rare headers from back in the early 60's !! Made exclusively by J.C. Whitey.
(A close relative of J.C. Whitney!)
Estimated value prolly in the mid 20's !
Twenty-five bucks is considered well bought !

I have no purpose for these headers except for wall art. I don’t think they are worth $400. Probably bullshittin me to make me think I got something special.

Trade you a set of SBC Edelbrock shorties for them. Less wall space used!

Edit: I have no use for them, just joking!
