now for the TT cab... what I wanted for my hack depot. was to run a front metal cowl in stead of the plywood that pretty much they all had... ... real hard to find a nice cowl that isn't hooked to a cab... and not all rusted and dinged up.... the scalper and picker are making a fat living raping people that need parts, they hit all the estate sales.. first guys at crack of dawn buying up every good part they can at the swap meets... taking a 25$ door and putting it on market place for $500

anyway, came across the cab, real nice,,, but couldn't talk my selt into the TT cab.. and there was a guy that really needed the doors to finish his TT for the town parade... so i sold the doors... I only wanted the cowl... so that worked out cool.. that car will now be built on the 27 frame...

The Fireball T is an awesome roadster, @Greg Stokes the owner is on here, there is a build thread too.
Your coupe is a pearler, such a cool thing.
There's a thread "Gow Jobs" on here with heaps of interesting vehicles too.
The first post about the front axle, it looks like the spring might be mounted behind the he axle maybe using 'Laurell' spring mounts I think they are called. Thanks for posting

Got the TT cowl on the 27 chassis today... so that one is well on the way now that I have a plan... be a winery truck when done,... or hack... won't have doors... more delivery style...

The rear is uniquely Australian, not as pretty as a US built T, the best I can tell it's a 25

so back at the cross roads.....the T roadster pick up... the bed is way to nice to cut up, and no way do I want that long bed hanging out the back... to me the whole truck bed on a T was a mistake, and not engineered to begin with...then add Z'n the frame to a "that'll never work" idea.. the "T''s have sub rails and little to no frame in the rear.... that why when you look at old pics... there always bent from someone try'n to haul too much weight rear of the axel... the sub rails stick out past the rear cross member... then the bed hangs out even further, so that when you Z the frame, you have to cut the sub rails off... now the real only place the bed is hooked on to solid frame is the front 2 bolts... so the fix is to bob off all that bed thats sticking out... for me.. I already have 2 model A RPU's ,a model T RPU, and 2 model T hack depot's in the barn, and only one model T coupe... so I'd like to have a trunk back bucket (roadster) dirt track type gowed up skinny tire T with model A power... so I'm on the hunt for a turtle deck for a 1927 T roadster.... might have to build one...???? also.... just a though, but I have this idea that I think might work, the aprons on the T;s I was thinking that I was gonna flip the aprons upside down, and side to side to give the illusion that the car has a belly pan , all with the Idea that a couple good ol boys working in the barn didn't have sheet metal rollers , or even sheet metal to roll and worked with what they had..
any way... if you think up some thing that actually works.... google it and someone already did it

Eight Women, Two Model Ts, and the American West

    by Joanne Wilke

In 1924 eight young women drove across the American West in two Model T Fords.

In nine weeks they traveled more than nine thousand unpaved miles on an extended car-camping trip through six national parks, "without a man or a gun along." It was the era of the flapper, but this book tells the story of a group of farm girls who met while attending Iowa's Teacher's College and who shared a "yen to see some things." A blend of oral and written history, adventure, memoir, and just plain heartfelt living, Eight Women is a story of ordinary people doing extraordinary things. Weaving together a granddaughter's essays with family stories and anecdotes from the 1924 trip, the book portrays four generations of women extending from nineteenth-century Norway to present-day Iowa--and sets them loose across the western United States where the perils and practicalities of automotive travel reaffirm family connections while also celebrating individual freedom.

The bodies were built by 1 of a few body builders so they aren't standardized like a factory one. I did well with the body, I happened to get chatting with a local restorer about T parts, was just hoping for a cowl & maybe doors or something & mentioned that I would love a roadster but that I didn't expect to find one easily. He gave me a funny smile & told me about this one, he wanted to keep the running gear as spares for his tourer.
When I picked it up he said to his wife, 'do you know what He's going to do with it? He's going to build a hot rod out of it! & She got very excited saying "Oh I love hot rods!":cool::cool::cool::cool:

well' took a few days off and went off roading in utah.... got back and got going again... the tt is a head scratcher... the 27 is wide firewall, where as the the TT is a tall narrow fire wall... all my hoods are wide fire wall... except the 25 coupe... but at least I know that a stock hood will fit..... I welded up sub rails and a halo for the top,... just have to figure out roof height, then weld the halo on...might use truck bed metal sides instead of wood... but that plan isn't locked in yet...
