IMG_0980.jpeg Finished under the dash wiring & down to windshield & rear glass interior trim, fit column , paint window interior mouldings & a glove box on backorder. Determination to stay on it , too close to Dad’s Class of 64’ reunion.

IMG_0252.jpeg Nothing like cutting fresh powder coat sheet metal to clear an arms . Then realizing one of the inner splash guards has been krinkled up bad , putting it lightly the inner fender layout on these cars is kinda odd compared to 55 up.

Steering linkage & column in to stay / gotta epoxy tiny crack or 3 & paint wheel. Moved ididit no tilt column back 1/2 more towards driver to get added leg room too , that orig 150 wheel is huge !

First I've seen of this thread. Nice work. The older I get, the more I dig the crew cabs. You're on the homestretch now!

Your attention to detail is top notch. Looking forward to seeing more pictures in the future on your progress.
It looks like you used the Chassis Engineering Rear spring kit in your pictures. I installed the same setup in my 50 coupe with a Nova 8.5.

With 2 weeks to go till Dads Class 64 HS reunion ! Pipes done tomorrow. Porter mufflers , Fentons , & GM Accessory tips. I been busting it hard but drove it for first time in decades last week. More to come in the final build finally! Best part is seeing Dad’s Joy & the stories about HS drag racing it & some of their early 60s adventures. Flux IMG_1313.jpeg

Mission Accomplished by pushing a working guy beyond his threshold of time & energy, I’m exhausted but today it was all worth it . Old Guys & gals remembered it & you’d think it was 1964 again . Don’t give up , dreams can come true ❤️ IMG_1358.jpeg IMG_1359.jpeg

Yep the exact same set of caps were still in the trunk rusty & wall art in my shop ❤️ I like the steelie poverty look but it’s got his high school look down to a tee

  24. At least on modern versions you don't have to worry about rust

Thank you ! To me it just costs more time to detail the smalls & that makes a slower build time but after few major restorations & race car builds I find the smalls refreshing, & everything works as it should , lol
