Sounds good. We arrive tomorrow at Outpost RV Park in Salt Lick. Will bring MH to Camargo Park for Friday and Saturday. See everyone at Dinner on Thursday. Ron

  2. Reservations are made for 20, I'm only counting 15, but this way there's extra room. I told her we'll be there anywhere from 6-7. They have a nice bar, so I'll be there unwinding from all of this :D:D:D

  3. Swap meet, don't forget to bring some parts that you wanna sell. I've got a set of 781bbc heads ready to go and a dual plane intake for them. Few other odds and ends.

  5. Irish hills. 1223 Camargo road. Mt Sterling Ky. It's the country club/golf course on the left. Beautiful place

    Lloyd,

My cabin's very near Bills. I'll be driving 7 hours to get there. I imagine Bill will be driving that far. What's three miles more or less??? Absolutely nothing! Rock on folks. See ya for dinner Thursday.

Note: I'll probably still be closer to the show than when we stayed in Mt. Sterling last year.

@Lloyd's paint & glass, please clarify.

Google Earth shows a 4134 Camargo Road, Mount Sterling, Ky. AND a 4134 Camargo Road Camargo, Ky.

The Mt. Sterling address appears to be a hay field. The Camargo address is right at the Mongomery County Fire/EMS Station #3.

I'm betting that 4134 Camargo Road Camargo, Ky. is where we want to be.

    Confirm?

Can't get there until Friday, Alyn has to work Thursday:(. Bringing the "Ultimate Speed Racer" for the Valve Cover Derby. The rest of y'all might as well leave your scrap iron home;).

  9. I concur completely with Mike!

The 6+ hours I will be driving down is just enough time for my flat ass to get comfortable in the truck seat! My normal day is 18 hours & 1 thousand miles most long trips. I believe this change will put me just about exactly the same distance from the cabin to the show as last year.

Just to clarify for all coming @Lloyd's paint & glass ....ALL festivities are now moved to the 4134 Camargo Rd location?????

    God Bless
    Bill

  10. I need video of the "ultimate speed racer" beating the next best valve cover.
You guys have fun, but behave like mom is watching!

  11. Well it's mt sterling ky. Camargo doesn't have a zip code, but yes it's Camargo, behind the Camargo firehouse.

  12. Oh yes. It's not far.

  13. Yes, 4134 Camargo road. Not to confuse anybody, but it's highway 460.

  14. If you don't have my number, and you're coming, you can find it on my profile. If you have any issues at all, just call me.

This valve cover racing could get out of hand. I am just sitting back and watching who brings what and if anyone one ups my idea. And no I will not divulge my idea. I have a feeling this might turn into a yearly thing. Damn I am getting very anxious about missing this event now. You guys have a great time and be sure to keep us posted of the shenanigans.

Thanks! The folks in beautiful downtown Mustang, Oklahoma told me I would never see 18, then they told me I wouldn't make it to 21. Fooled them all, I'm 80 today. Now, back to fine tuning my valve cover;).

  26. Hell yeah guys! Looking forward to hanging out

  27. Wonder if there will be any surprise attendees this year, like @corncobcoupe did last year

  28. Do you think the Mods would trust us to congratulate without them? :D

  29. You mean congregate? Yeah because they know we'll break the rules!! But I'll allow a couple of nice first gen Camaro's show up. Maybe, never know.
