    I’m looking at buying a 1928/29 Model A cowl. This is an item I found online and the seller is very slow at returning messages and very bad at answering my questions. I’m trying to figure out if this is going to fit in my SUV to get home. I’m hoping someone could provide me some measurements so I can figure it out.

    The first measurement I need is (A) the distance across the top of the windshield from one side to the other.

    The second measurement is (B) the distance across the bottom of the cowl at the front.

    The third measurement is (C) the distance across the bottom of the cowl at the back of the cowl.

    I really appreciate any help. Thank you.

  2. What make and model SUV do you have as that would help. It is from a coupe, sedan, or pick up as the four door cowls were different.

    Rounded up to the next whole inch:

    A=48"
    B=31"
    C=41"

    You should add an 2" for the hinges.

    Thank you so much, gimpyshotrods- that’s exactly what I needed and I hadn’t factored in the consideration of the hinges. I really appreciate it!
