This was Little Truckdoctor’s first ride in a FAST! Car. @High test 63 hooked Chandler into the 5 point harness, thank you Randy!! I’m pretty darn sure my wonderful Son is hooked on horsepower. Big Block Chevrolet horsepower at that!! Thank you Steve! I appreciate the ride you gave Chandler from the bottom of my heart!

I feel like there was more updates and pictures last year? Make the rest of jealous for not being able to make it.

  6. Don’t blame autocorrect, blame the jack wagon who came up with it.

  7. Another one on the books. Thank you to everybody that made it here!! I enjoyed spending time with you all. To everybody that sponsored it, thank you, couldn't have done it without you. Weekend after labor day 2025, see you then

Bravo on a event pulled off. And good on you for doing the effort.

  9. This was another fantastic Lloydfest! We loved seeing everyone who attended and it was great to meet everyone who came for the first time. A huge thanks to Lloyd for putting this on and putting up with me and my family. To everyone else who were not able to make it, you guys missed a wonderful reunion. Make plans now to attend next year. You will not regret it!

  11. This is WAY cool but dangerous. Ask me how I know… :D Pretty sure my first ride in a fast car ruined me for life. Now, I have ruined at least one if not two more generations…

  12. Nah Bill had to keep it in check a little this year with Laura being under the weather. We still had fun, but didn't get as wild as last year. And I wanna make an official announcement that Bill has 0 miles without an accident now, he backed into a sign pole lmao! :p:p:p love ya Billy :D

  13. Get your ass out here next year, love to have you.

Well, looks like we missed a great time. Hopefully we can make it next year, at least the date (and location?) is locked in already.
I loved the picture of the valve cover race track, can't say I've ever seen a vc track like that one before, and I have seen a few different ones. Will the valve cover racing be a feature for next year's event?

Are all of you guys safe? There was a shooting in Ky on the highway. Anywhere near y’all? Be safe! Hi Bill!

  17. I wasn't assembling all of that for 3 minutes. If I have attendance and participation i will go full blown sanctioned event, only rules was no pushing, no crybaby whiny bullshit.

Not the best shots but these two pictures are what I think Lloydfest is about. Like minded people hanging out and talking about what they like.

Yes, a great weekend! Thanks Lloyd for all the time and effort you put into this. Lloyd will tell you he couldn't have done it without the donations and the attendees, but he is being modest. It doesn't matter how much in donations and how many attended, it would not have happened if 2 years ago Lloyd had not said "If I plan it, will you come?" Sorry, but I visited The Field of Dreams movie site a few weeks ago. And we came, had fun and came back again this year. And we will be back next year. Those that couldn't make it have a year to plan. See you then, you won't regret it. Ron

  23. My lovely wife Laura loves to edit pictures......I keep telling her that candid pics are not perfect, but fixing them is her thing, so I won't post any pics in this post, but I have a couple to add when she is done!:D

If you have never experienced Lloydfest....You don't know what you are missing! This get together is EXACTLY what the Hot Rodding Fellowship is all about!!!!!

Here is a man with his own issues/demons/problems that truly wants his fellow car guys to just come down to visit him & enjoy themselves. He is going to bust his @ss to make sure you have a good time no matter who you are!

@Lloyd's paint & glass is exactly what he professes to be, more than any other man I have ever met! For me.....NEVER have I met anyone in my 62 years on this planet that I immediately felt a lasting bond/friendship with & I have several good friends that I have known for 40+ years, so when I say this .....I am not just blowing smoke! When I leave Lloydfest, it actually hurts my heart. The fact that Lloyd specifically & ALL the Guys/Wives & Kids in general went out of their way to include my wife Laura in this event just makes me want to bow down to their amazing friendship, generosity & empathy for what we are going through right now. Come Lloydfest 2025 (with God's help) Laura will be dancing to anything Lloyd wants to sing!!!!!

GOD BLESS You ALL for making this the best weekend we could have possibly asked for!!!!!!!!

  24. Lloyd, THANK YOU! So glad to be a part of this hot rod party. Made it back to Gettysburg around 2:30 today, just under 500 miles. Great seeing everyone! @Truckdoctor Andy, Chandler had a permagrin during the ride, happy to show him the way! Don't forget to watch Robert Culp's 1973 film ''Outrage''. The antihero is named Chandler, and drives a very wicked '56 Nomad.

  25. I don't care how much money you have, you can never buy more time. Get out and enjoy yourself. If I have to send you gas money, or give you a place to sleep, I'll take care of it if it gets you off the couch and in that car. I quit counting what I spent, I believe you guys gave me $850, I spent maybe $800 out of my pocket, not including the toilet. Small investment to bring a group together and see people laugh and talk cars. I'll cover it completely every year if that's what needs to be done. Personally I had a great time seeing you all, great fellowship. Ron told me that in the beginning, he wasn't sure about coming because he thought it was gonna be a scene from the wild ones, and he wouldn't fit in, that's not the case though. Every person that shows up would give you their last dollar and the shirt of their back. Ron told me that after he met me in person on his way to the tri five nationals, he knew he was coming back. Great people, all of you. Proud to call you friends, and as you know, my contact info is all on my profile. Yell anytime. Bill Squires, man I feel like I have known you my entire life. And you know if and when you need me, I'll hit the road and be there. Laura is an extension of you and part of the family. I'm so glad that she was able to be here, I know she doesn't feel the best, but the fact that she, and you, put everything on the back burner and made the trip, is just humbling. How about Mike Neely? 69 years old, climbing in that 50 Chevy piled full of shit and driving 970 miles to hang out with us?? Gary and Mary hitting the road from Wisconsin 2 years in a row to hang out with us? All of you guys and gals! It's impressive! This isn't some big show production! Just a small group of folks. But hopefully it was enjoyable for everybody, and you look forward to coming back. Bring a friend next year, if they're your friends, I'm sure they will fit in just fine

  27. Big Steve! You and the 57 are a big part of this! Can't thank you enough for being here 2 years in a row. I have a lot of respect for ya. And I'm excited about doing it again next year. You guys need to consider the nostalgia nationals in Bowling Green in June. Great show, great drag racing, great people. It's a really good vacation for a car guy that doesn't cost a fortune. I'll get those mounts sent to you this week big guy ;)

love that movie, you will notice near the end when the "nomad" gets wrecked/explodes that they used a 2 door wagon

  29. The dog!! You're a badass Randy! Couldn't help but smile when I seen you pull in. Be safe on the road, and thanks for making the trip!!
