I'm sorry to say that upon further inspection, the rear springs under the car are a mess. Me and super Dave looked at them yesterday evening, it appears that he had taken a couple of main leaves and cut the ends off, and added them to the pack. They are the stock width with the groove in them. It's pretty horrendous. Back and forth, and back and forth.... I'm gonna go with my original plan and put the ladder bars under it. So much for the easy way out. Unless I run across some decent springs local.

 

Your spring pack looked awfully large for a wagon! They are bigger than what’s under Papaw!

 

Thats old school traction control as I mentioned before. I’d run it to see. One less thing on the get it running punch list. Always time afterwards to change things up.

Somewhere around page 19 or 20. he was mocking parts up and cutting rust out by page 22.

Wow touchy subject? I am starting a '57 150 gasser build and wanted to follow along to see how you were doing the front & rear suspension, don't have hours to spend catching up on 39 pages, just want to cut to the meat of things. Don't worry won't be bothering you again! And Gene doesn't need to be added to the "hate" he was just trying to help!

It’s called postpartyn depression It can make people cranky. I think he gets a pass after all the work he put in so everyone else could party. I know I was depressed because I didn’t get to go.
