Today I found a 1962 Pep Boys catalog. Wouldn't you love a set of "Lloyd " transparent red ignition wires? It's full of other parts under the same name brand.

No bitchin coil, no bitchin distributor cap, and no bitchin angle plug wires, but when you own what it takes to make it run, you use it. Sorry man.

Show off! We all know you’re a body man. Buying bent pushrods and straightening them is one thing. But you have to go and post a video of how well they worked after you straightened them.

Hey Lloyd , do the heads have guide plates? If so check that the push rods are hardened. Just trying to save a brother from more grief:cool:

just a little '90's cult classic called Spike &Mike's Sick & Twisted Animation Festival (they also had a regular animation festival)...they were the first to introduce such familiar favorites as: Ren & Stimpy, Beevis & Butthead, etc. etc....long before CGI, and AI took over, creative people actually used to hand draw cartoons and push the limits of imagination...it used to go town to town to the old marquee type theaters...just an art form gone by the wayside and another of the cool things that doesn't exist anymore

Cam timing. Yeah I've been a prick. Sorry. But I live alone, so I have to be an ass to my friends on the internet. I threw shit, kicked a dog, punched the old jehovah witness lady in the fupa, etc... but I sent a picture of bent pushrods to @lumpy 63 , said it looks like i get to pull heads... he told me to check the cam gear first. At tdc on the crank, the cam was ar about the 10oclock mark. Redone all of that, replaced pushrods, and life was better. Also want to add that the Chineseium rpm copy intake gave me a little headache with sealing. So keep that in mind if you go that route.

No sir. I put "vintage gm" pushrods and rocker arms back in it. Time tested if you will (used) ;)
