Here’s the view that you get to look at for about a hour when you just miss the 9AM ferry at Shelter Bay, BC.
On the bright side, you’re first in line for the 10AM.

Did a 90 mile trip out in the Sacramento river delta a week ago - incredible back road driving. Perfect for old cars (in this case a 1950 Crosley)

Are the flags for a special occasion or a true patriot's every day gift to his neighbors?

The guy that owns the property along there is the same one that started Wreaths Across America and wanted to put up the world's tallest flagpole. He also donated some of the land for a small national cemetery that's on the same road. He puts the flags up along the road every Tuesday and for patriotic holidays, 9/11, etc. Also, he's put the verses of the Pledge of Allegiance on signs in between the flags. It's all pretty neat to see out here in the middle of nowhere.

Sounds like a very proud American citizen! We need more like him. Thanks for the follow up answer to my question.

Was trying to get a pic of a squirrel but it’s difficult to tell what’s through the windshield, I did a catastrophic job of cleaning the inside of it last night

How 'bout the side window instead of the windshield. Here's Denise (HRLC) in Big Olds at the MoKan starting line through Clarence's passenger window in 2003. Probably the same day as my avatar.

That might be the first HAMB Drags as there is a motorhome in the background that looks like the one I took there to give us some relief from the heat. I see a little of the old timing tower in photo. Good times for sure.

Last Saturday morning my brother and I were both on the road. We were heading in opposite directions about 200 miles apart and we were both in our AD Chevy trucks. He sent me a windshield shot and I sent him one back.
