Looks a lot like one I had about fifty or so years ago. Just a nice original car then. I'm just north of Longmont.

 

That is awesome. It is great to hear (well read) that wives are into adventures. I brought home a car once with out telling mine and it was not good for me, still have both and she now has a new car to replace her 15 year old car.

Scored a primo ‘55 Wisconsin plate off eBay. In ‘55 Wisconsin plates were green/white. How could I NOT run one?

Took it into the big metropolis of 2000 people up north of us for Mexican tonight. My boys even came with! They’ll usually go with the wife and I if one of the old cars is involved.
Got to check out the dash lights too., as this is the first time I took it out at night.

 

And even the dash lights work… Okay, now you’re just bragging!

 

Well, just an update. I don’t really usually do car shows, but our little town had a festival put on by our volunteer fire department. They have a car show as part of the event. The Catalina got a trophy, though it was the kids choice award!

 

“from the mouths of babes” as they say. “Cool” is a lot cooler coming from the youths than it is from say, me…

 

And they said those were old man cars.
