I have two John Deere 2 cylinder tractors that my farming grandfather bought new and I have kept. When I went on the Johnnypopper website and registered a user name, I used my first name combined with the nickname of those tractors. No pills or drugs involved. When I pursued my car part of my obsesssions on the HAMB, It was easier to carry over my already used user name.

Well, when I got here, "Hot Rod Todd" was already taken. It had been my nickname in hot rodding circles for a decade or two.

Then some time later, I think the original "Hot Rod Todd" passed away, and I figured it would be disrespectful to pinch a name of a dead guy, so Im still GasserTodd, but I still dont have a gasser.

I probably should have gone to AAFA Todd as Im highly unlikely to ever have a gasser.

    I didn’t really do anything!

I’d always pronounced yours in my head as “Sharponay” in a Italian accent
Vanden Plas were a coachbuilders in London. They started out as a subsidiary of a Dutch firm called Van Den Plas. They got taken over and passsed through numerous hands before ending up as past of British Leyland as a trim level on Jags and Austins

    Me too... LOL.
    But without the Italian accent.

That is, until I realized somebody had left my brain turned off again.

Was in the parts business for many years and always wanted to decorate the interior of the store to look like an old time saloon. Avatar is a pic of my storage shed.

Back when I was introduced to the internet via Prodigy I needed a username for something. I had no idea what a username was, so I asked my brother in law the IT guy what it was. He explained it as a nickname, something I didn't have. He suggested I use something I was interested in, like my 64 Nova. So I used sixtyfour, then I sold that car and bought a 63 Nova. So from then on I have been Sixty3 on a lot of forums.

  22. It’s my name. I want to meet fellas at events from the board and figured that would be easier to remember. I had a handle at first but I asked Ryan to change it. Can’t even remember what the handle was now, that was 17 years ago

  23. Big Daddy Roth, was my Godfather, and started calling me "Bad Bobby" cause I kept ditching school and going to his shop in Maywood. Everytime I would get caught, he would laugh and say,"They're coming to get you Bad Bobby!"

When I joined, trailer trash was taken, so I added Too. I got cleaned out in a 1986 divorce, ended up finding a "fixer-up" doublewide mobile on an acre of land. It was 2 blocks of unimproved dirt road away from pavement, but did have a 24' x 28' outbuilding that I could eventually convert to a workshop.

The logo comes from McLean Trucking (a big east coast outfit). In the 1950's, I thought it was neat to have my last name on semi-trucks. My driver was a 1986 Ford F150, 4 cylinder Cummins diesel (4bt) swapped, with a 1952 Bell Telephone Systems service bed). The Ford part was purchased with a pealing primer job (never did fix it).

The local car scene has a few "Gold chain - power parker" types. I always felt a "little pooped-on;)". I had magnetic signs made and put them on the doors. The "trailer trash" part is obvious, the "Nicksville" part is a bit more subtle. The Nicksville neighborhood of Hereford, AZ was where the GIs of Fort Huachuca went to for drinking, gambling and prostitution.

After about 10 years, the magnetic signs rotted away.
    Flagstaff return U-Haul - Hi res.jpg
This truck was driven to 37 states in my retirement years. And only one major breakdown. Lost a U-joint in Flagstaff on a Friday night. 340 miles from home. Uhaul was the most expedient answer.

Mine comes from my drinking buddies years ago. They would stop by the garage with adult beverages, and they started calling these gatherings as the Vintage Fabrication Bar and Grill. When asked by their wives where they were going, they would respond, to Vinfab's to get some work done.
