When I bought the RPU ,I bought a rebuilt flathead to go with it. The engine is 125 over and never run. It was rebuilt 10 plus years ago so I am pulling it down just to check everything. I pulled out the cam and on the drive end it's faintly stamped Offenhauser and below it has F R stamped. I'm guessing f r means "full race" ?
So , I measured the base circle with my digital caliper , zeroed it the measured the nose of the cam and got .325"..... does that seem right? Most performance numbers I've seen are around .400" the cam has pakerizing on the lobes and it doesnt look like it's been run .
I've searched google a bit and haven't found much about Offenhauser cams..... what do I have? Is it an offenhauser cam that's been reground or what?

I saw cams in a very old (1950s) Offenhauser catalog.
