I was on FB Marketplace a few months back and I stumbled upon a set of in the Box Aluminum Canadian 24 stud heads at a great price. I was late to work, but it was totally worth it. Here are pics of the heads I will be using on my flathead that’s at the machine shop right now.

Those heads look so good when they're polished to a mirror finish.
How do you plan on finishing yours?

I'd love to have them polished, that's the plan, but money is getting tight.
I bought a brand new Edelbrock slingshot, Summit had a special, $600 Shipped, I couldn't pass it up.

I was going to run a Tall 2x2 Original Edelbrock regular intake I currently have, but then I was really leaning on the Geardrive 2x2 intake as well, but this slingshot was too good of a deal to pass up ($600 shipped). I’m going to remove the badge on the generator mount and have the intake polished as well (depending on money).
It’ll look just like an original slingshot.

You might consider polishing your aluminum parts yourself. It's quite a bit of time consuming and tedious work and it's not without cost such as for consumables but it doesn't cost that much. And you need to have a good compressor and a die grinder and patience. But there's a lot of self satisfaction when you get done.
As-cast aluminum is cool too, though. And you can keep your fingerprints intact.

That’s the plan in the near future, I was going to paint it, but I’m on the fence on colors and wanting a C-Notch and maybe a different dash, so a Suede job is more than likely gonna happen because more work needs to be done.

I won these 1936 Desoto Airflow door handles off of eBay, I always wanted a set after seeing a set on The Willis Horn Coupe which I absolutely love.
I thought they were going to be needing re-chromed, but I started to polish the handles and I was surprised to see they cleaned up great, not perfect, but great.
