Spent a week there one day in 1966. White Sands was where our rifle range was for Fort Bliss, Texas basic training.
I was there in '67.... damned scorpions and snakes in abundance! By the way.....who was the genius that named it "Bliss"? I ruined my opinion of Texas forever!!!
