    Hi guys,

I fell in love with the full fender style you see below and I want to identify the wheel/rim combination they are running. It looks like the rims are 18" 1932.
Any feedback is highly appreciated. Same for leads to find a set of rims.

    Thanks, Phil

Yes, I think that's what he's asking. I believe these are example pics, not his car.

There are three versions of those wheels, 32 Ford 18”, 33-34 Ford 17” and 35 Ford 16”. The 16” were the most popular. The example photos look to be 17 or 18 inch. The only issue with those is available tire selection. 18” are pricey and limited selection with the stock rim being I believe 3.5” wide. Bigger selection for 16” tires.

The Tudor on the left has the straight spoke 1935 Ford 16" wheels. 5.50 front and 7.00 rear tires. The Coupe on the right has the 1936 Kelsey Hayes 16" 40 bent spoke wheels. with 6.50 Excelsior radials. The Tudor has a reverse eye front spring. The reverse eye spring for the Coupe is in the garage awaiting winter installation.

My '30 coupe before I sold it. Ford '35 wires with Excelsior rubber; 6.00x16s and 7.00x16s.

I think you are trying to be cute, right? It’s probably not helpful to be saying things like that to guys trying to learn what parts are what.

To the OP, and anyone else new to the Model A world, that’s a 1930 with 1932 grille and wheels.

I went with 16" Kelsey Hayes, 4" wide 5.10x16 in front and 4.5 wide 7.00x16 on the rear.
