Found this car in Arkansas. Older build with some street rod items I will remove. 350/350 with 9" Ford rearend. The fellow who built it now has dementia so couldn't get any information. Has an original re-upholstered seat which I will change to get more room. Needs the window regulators refurbished as well as new window channels and new interior. Needs quarter and rear window garnish and the windshield frame. Looks like a 3" chop. Could someone give me an original vertical measurement on the window or door at the B pillar so I can check it? Probably rewire also since it is pretty messy. I'm an old guy so good fun wintertime project.
Very nice low dollar improvement project. I****ume when you do the window regulators you will bin or recover the lame aluminium door cards. Some folk get confused with window regulators and door handles etc billet is not cool. But I am sure you are on the right track.
Kiwi 4D I do plan to rid it of billet and*****py door panels. alchemy It is a Henry steel car except the firewall and rear fenders which I plan to replace
Door height is 43 7/8” and the window opening measures 13” at the straight edges, just past the upper and lower radii. Nice car, you’re off to a great start.
nice find Larry !! i did the same with the seat. the old 1985 center seat from a caravan or voyager or town and counrty van. the 85s dont have all the plastic stuff on the side and are wider. found mine in idaho wrecking yard and had shipped.upohlstry shop matched my 63 interior. i have seen these seats on facebook lately
I like your 32 Rick. This one has had the rain gutters and cowl vent removed and the top closed. Glued the windshield in so going to put it back in a frame and swing open. Lots of little things like hand bent brake lines, etc. that I'll change. I see you recently moved back to California. Enjoy!
