    I remember seeing this Nomad . It was in the California desert, near Winterhaven. I think it was the Sand Dune Nationals or something like that. Always wondered what happened to it.

    Project ‘33^. Popular Hot Rodding did a feature on building a ‘33 pickup with a 4-71 blown 350. IIRC they then ran it at the drags against McMullen’s Dodge A100 Pickup that was chopped and ran a blown 427 BBC with a Turbo 400.

    I would imagine finding an Edsel grille in Australia bitd, would have been a bit of a mission?

    And if I recall correctly the 33 beat the Dodge.
    The Dodge had the BBC installed mid engine in the bed on some sort of swing arm assembly where the engine & trans pivoted with the suspension.
