    I desperately need a Ford Flathead to 1937 Packard transmission adapter for the 32 coupe project.

    And I don't even know what I am looking for. Anyone got a good picture?

    So...are the lasalle and packard adapters the same, just drilled for different mounting patterns?

    Looking at these photos of a 37 Packard transmission that was for sale on the Packard board 4 years ago could one use a Ford Hogshead and make an adapter plate? Or do you have the transmission out of a 37 Super 8? Screenshot (1301).png Screenshot (1300).png

    Here's one with an offy adapter to behind an 8BA. R.C. on the HAMB had this for sale a few years ago. [​IMG]

    Good question... I don't know if they mean "Same casting, different holes", or "same description, different application (different casting)". The shipping weight is listed as 1 lb. more on the Packard version, so I'm inclined to think maybe it's a different casting, unless the center hole is just that much bigger for the La Salle...

    Yeah. I was noting that too. They do look very similar. I'm waiting on some measurements. Hopefully I'll have some answers for this.
