You guys probably don’t like Superbirds either. But that’s ok, Petty liked the hell out of them. Like I said earlier I can see some redeeming values in that car.

 

I love Superbirds! Mine would have to be black. The flying Blackbird.

 

Ummm.... No! I love the Daytona and Superbird... I'm just a NOT fan of the late '50s Mopar land yachts with those ugly fins out back....

 

Got some respect for the Bird. The 1970 version helped convince another generation of kids that older cars are cool.

The front end I could live with, though I am a sucker for anything that looks like hand formed aluminum. It has a George Jetson kind of feel to it.

The back end not so much.

The owner/builder said he built it in the first two weeks being home when Covid shut down everything

 

I kind of like it in a Batmobile/Futura kind of way.
