That's a very good guess but Michelle came along some years later. This is Maria Teresa de Filippis who was the first woman to race in Formula One in 1958. She had a brief career but was capable did win races in other types of racing.
Pretty sure the last year for the split window was 1953. My buddy had a split back in the mid 70s, he's still into vw's, and even then they were expensive. He built and sold a few cars to get the cash for the split. About a month later an elderly lady plowed into him and totaled it.
