Sitting and rotting....OT Cars

Used to have a 427 in it,it was that badly rusted 15 years ago ok maybe 25 too?

 

ouch that's hopefully on the to be fixed list

 

A friends uncle had a 66 elcamino that got that bad and when my buddy junked it the roof was totally rusted and they picked it up off the body no cutting involved.then it was a convertible.

 

'67 on the left has a thicker header panel looks like a '67 maybe.

 

Did u save it it doesn't look to bad ?

 

No, I already had too many projects. I suspect it has been sold by now though. The main issue was that rats moved in to trash the interior as well as likely the engine. The car is definitely worth fixing even though it is just a 318 car.

66?67? Olds 442. my buddy in high school had one of these. only ran 16's at Fremont dragstrip ...10 year old used car. I think he paid $800.00 for it in like new condition.he later traded it for a 56 Chevy

It's a '66.

@49ratfink - The 442 is a '67. The headlights are separated by the turn signal. That area would be the cold air intake on a W30 car.
